Background: The Government of Srilanka has initiated the implementation of 1210 Nos. of Rural Bridges, Island wide in three Phases on a Turnkey Basis. Implementing Agency: Part of the project had been implemented under three contract agreement by the former Ministry of Economic Development. The balance part was assigned to the Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government through cabinet decision No:15/0519/605/009- dated 30-04-2015.
